Karachi Kings disappointment contiunues……

As the losing streak of Karachi Kings continues, they were unable to defend a total of 153 but it was mainly Peshawar Zalmi’s strong bowling attack which shattered the hopes of Karachi Kings. Kings’ bowlers did quite well on their part but the team didn’t get what was required from the batsmen.

The tale of the Bard started with Hassan Ali getting rid of one of the openers on the first ball of the match. He also got rid of in-form Babar Azam where he was unable to reach the crease before the ball. After that, the batsmen and hopes of Karachi Kings kept falling one-by-one.

Wahab Riaz, a leading Peshawar Zalmi bowler, looked in a brilliant form where he was easily hitting a pace f 140 to 150 Km/h. Alongside Wahab, Hassan Ali was able to take wickets of major Karachi Kings batsmen putting a final nail in the coffin.

In the 9th Match of PSL 2019, the target set by Peshawar Zalmi of 153 runs didn’t seem too much, however, as bad as they are in chasing totals, Karachi Kings were unable to hit the mark.

Karachi Kings disappointment continues.

First getting thrashed by their archrivals Lahore Qalandars and now also by Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings continue to disappoint their fans since it is their second consecutive defeat in Pakistan Super League 2019.

In the 4th Edition of PSL, the hopes of King’s fans were quite high due to a powerful squad as compared to last year’s. However, after beating Sultans in their first match, they have struggled to find a victory.

According to experts, the poor decision making after winning the toss by Imad Waeem has served as the major cause behind the current performance dilemma. They are good at defending totals and this is what they should adapt to.

In their previous match against Peshawar Zalmi, the captain won the toss and despite knowing the fact that their batting lineup struggles while chasing, he elected to field first. The target set by Peshawar wasn’t too much but the batsmen were unable to score while batting second.

Though Kings still have enough potential and strength in their squad to come back stronger in the tournament and restore the faith of their fans.
